Our policy
You may return items that are complete and like new for any reason within 60 days. We will gladly give you a refund for the full amount of the merchandise (not including original shipping). No re-stocking fees, no strings attached. Just make sure it's in like-new condition, pack it all (remote, manual, etc.) securely in the original packaging, and call us for a return authorization number. All refunds will be issued to the same payment type as the original form of payment(s) as determined by Crutchfield. (Exclusions below.)

Get a Return Authorization
You can call 1-800-297-9469 or email us at support@crutchfield.ca to get a Return Authorization. Please call if your item was shipped direct from the manufacturer, or involves a damaged/defective product.

Pack your items carefully
Returned items must be new and in the original packaging, complete with all original accessories and manuals. To protect products in shipping, Crutchfield over-boxes many products. Please use the original over-box and the manufacturer’s packaging.

Attach the shipping label
For most returns, you will receive an Authorized Return Service (ARS) shipping label along with your return authorization number. Remove or mark out the original labels, then securely tape one completed ARS label to each package.

Ship the package
Take the package to Canada Post, UPS or Purolator. We recommend using Insured, Regular Parcel Service and keeping a record of your tracking number until your return has been processed.

Refund options
You will be provided a refund for the full amount of the items you purchased (not including original shipping).

Refund method
Refunds must be issued to the same credit card, debit card, gift certificate, or other form of payment used in the original transaction.

Items must be new
Crutchfield may refuse a customer return or charge a restocking fee when the returned item is not like new. Examples of conditions that will lead to refused returns or restocking fees include when the returned item has:
- A different serial number than the one Crutchfield originally shipped.
- Missing parts or the original product packing material.
- Damage because it was improperly packaged for return shipment.
- There is wear and tear that indicates heavy use.
- Damage from drops, spilled liquid, or mishandling.

How long does it take Crutchfield to process my return?
After we receive your package, we normally process your exchange or refund within ten business days.

Shipping labels
Crutchfield can issue you an Authorized Return Shipping (ARS) label. Crutchfield is not responsible for return shipping costs except in cases of damaged or defective items. Let us know how many packages you're returning, and we’ll send a label for each package via email or fax.

Return shipping costs
If eligible, will be sent as a refund check to the billing address. Crutchfield will only cover the costs of Insured, Regular Parcel Service. We will not cover expedited or upgraded delivery on the return.
